tips for the map Empty tips for the map

hey falk, im a fan of maps like the one u've created "mvm" and i must say.. it is very possible to advertise it and make it much more popular map... and for that ull need to work on it more..

my suggestion is ... check the map "impossible bosses" take few ideas from there, try to make the game with item drops from bosses, skills every level u gain, tactics to kill the bosses, and making the characters more depended on each other could be great.

keep working on the map, and u'll make it to the top ! Razz this map is really fun and challenging.

waiting to see more updates. Smile

also i wanted to add:

when ur choosing skills it is very confusing because u get only some of them, others u get later or something like that... u should do it like : the first 3 skills you choose is the one's u start with...

falk.

making |vampiric aura| auras work for the whole team [coz the last time i checked it didnt work well, not even for other melee units] and maybe add more auras ... just a suggestion.


1] adding items or even sets in the future to the shops [cool Razz:P]
maybe some rings, bracelets, basic stuff... other items could come from bosses...

2] adding pets to the game to add ur stats or protect/help u might work! Razz

im sorry if im spamming but i got few new suggestions:

after the fight u get the "most valubale player", could be nice if there were statistics like

most dmg tanked/absorbed, [best tank]
most heals [best healer]
most dmg done [on the boss, dps]

I'll take a look at that map, i've already heard of it but i've never played it.
Btw what's the best impossible bosses version so i can take a look at it?

the order and preference you learn your abilities depends on the order you choose them, so at level 1 you start with the first 2 of 3, at level 2 you learn the third one, and at level 3 you increase your first one level and learn your level 3 ability, and it keeps going this way, i'll make a quest explaining this on the map and a more detailed topic at this forum.

If the "vampiric Aura" you're saying is Warrior's Lifesteal starting ability, it's supposed to work only for him, not for everyone
There are a fewq itens on the map but i disabled them to implement a better item system, it's probably coming in version 1.30 or 1.40, not sure.
There are some "pets" in the game already, but only to certain classes; Archer and Warlock, and Druid and Mage in version 1.30

I'm working on that probably for version 1.30, it's showing how long was the fight, shows the group average damage per second, average heal per second and i'm adding ammount healed to the scoreboard, so that healers can be the most valuable player for healing.
Adding tanks to most valuable players is kind of complicated so it's probably only comig in later versions but i'll try to add damage taken to 'statistics'
And don't worry about spamming, since you're giving me suggestions you're doing a great job Smile

falk i must say im impressed by the way you reply for every post, take every advise and work on it, ur great author and ull do just fine :PP

to be honest, when ive seen the map for the first time, i could swear u took the insperation from impossible bosses... since u said u didnt.. well u should man... because its very popular map and u can make mvm even better!

this is the link for the map so u can check it out and get few ideas from there...

things to notice in I.B.:

notice that the bosses in I.B use skills that u can avoid, so you have more challenge and chances of surviving, what it also does is... the good players that knows how to control the charecter well will avoid the attacks and survive longer.

also notice rogue race which might be nice for dps.

and hmm well the rest is up to ur imagination ill keep posting ideas if i get any.

ok i'll remake boss killing triggers since there are too many fatal errors when killing bosses to make sure there's nothing wrong with them

By the way, when you get the fatal error after killing a boss, is it :
-Right after the boss is killed (instantly)
-After the player gets the "MvP"
-After players get revived
-After players level up
-Or when players get teleported back to base?

If anyone can find that out i'm pretty sure i can fix it 100%
But i couldn't find exactly what caused the fatal erros so i'm just changing a few actions and their orders inside the trigger , i'm not sure if that's going to fix the problem 100%

well we killed him .. all players got Revived .. then comes the Message MVP and boom crash !

Nice, we are going to have an big change in 1.40 Very Happy

Itens, Rogue class..

I was playing and i got some sugestions:

Mage/Hunter/Priest:
Hawk, Water Elemental and Shadow Fiend should be level 3 spells, i think that a summon on level 5 or 6 are a bit useless.
